Spain

Technically we had 2(ish) days in Spain, but both can easily be put into one post. We flew in from Paris to Barcelona (flight was delayed, so we lost a lot of our day in Barcelona). We got in and saw a few small things, but didn’t have much time for anything, including the La Sagrada Familia. There really isn’t too much to see in Barcelona, so we used the very small portion of the day we had relaxing, especially after the day we had in Paris with the car. We got up early and took the Bullet Train directly to Madrid. We dropped our luggage off at the hostel and then headed towards Puerta del Sol. We grabbed a hop on hop off tour bus (which was the worst one I have ever been on. The facts on the bus were crap and the staff were more rude than the French were). After making our way around on both routes of the bus (took about 4.5 hours), we went back to the Hostel for check in. I took a small nap before we found some burgers for dinner (most of the Spanish food here is seafood based, which is not our first choice). After that, we kind of just laid around the hostel since we have to be up early again tomorrow morning for our 0700 flight to London. Here’s to the last week in Europe.
