Take 2! We woke up to a perfectly sunny day with not a single cloud in sight. We decided it was worth the money to go back to the Jungfrauch and try to get the amazing views we did not get to experience the day before. It was so worth it! It was amazingly beautiful and words could not fully describe the feeling of being almost 11,500 ft up in the open air. We spent about 2 hours up there looking at the marvels there were outside and walking outside (was about 35 Fahrenheit outside up that high). We eventually made our way back down and headed to the car. We then drove to Trümmelbachfalle to hike some waterfalls. I hiked up the 500+ steps alone for the first 6 waterfalls. There is an elevator at the bottom that lets people skip to closer to waterfalls 7-10. We finished going up the last 3 waterfalls and it was amazing to see the gushing water all flow together to create rapids that we have been seeing throughout all of Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. We all took the elevator back down and then started heading towards Zürich to drop the car off at the airport after checking into the hostel (need to drop off our crap first). After buying specific, sharp souvenirs, we had to fold and get a suitcase for specifically the sharp items that we now had in our possession. Since we needed the suitcase, we made a small stop in Lucerne on our way to Zürich to pick one up. Lucerne was beautiful and the glacier water was very pretty. Afterwards we continued on our way to the hostel where we checked in, dropped our luggage off, and then went to drop off the car at the airport. We grabbed the train back and then got dinner at the restaurant a few places down from the hostel. Tomorrow is going to be a more relaxed day and hopefully Thursday we will be able to do the zoo (storms are predicted the next 2 days).
